Not knowing the make and model of the car makes it a little more difficult to give a definitive answer but................
You should be able to connect wither by the phone or the car infotainment system. On either go to settings then select Bluetooth. You should see the option then to add a Bluetooth device. Select that and it will search for any nearby devices. Once it has done that whichever you do it from it should find the other one. Select pair and it should send a code for you to check on the other device. If that matches select it to pair and it should be done.
As said above Youtube or Google is your friend. Just search for either the car or the phone and how to connect to Bluetooth and you should come across numerous demonstrations be it visual or written to follow.
Once you have done it can you make a point of stopping everyone round here with a high end Merc, Range Rover or BMW and show them how to do it to save them from holding their phone in front of their mouth as they drive along?

Nearly all newish cars do Deniz. It just strikes me as odd that someone is prepared to pay so much money for a huge car and yet not be bothered to use some of the tech available to them. Lazy or inept who knows but they seem to want to have a phone stuck in front of their mouth instead of use what is available to them.

Let me know the brand/model of your car stereo. If it's a pioneer carrozeria (in japanese language), I can help you out perhaps.

Well done but can you change the clock in the car when the time changes?

I have a car with a carrozeria radio and havenāt a clue how to operate it apart from radio and disc. It keeps telling me that I am approaching a level crossing etc, when Iām obviously not, which is probably due to the Satnav showing me driving in Tokyo. Havenāt a clue how to turn that feature off. Even contacted Pioneer for an instruction book with the result āsorry thatās only made for the Japanese marketā. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got the same, and couldn't work out how to shut her up either. When the car went in for a service, I asked them to turn her off, which they did. She only says something on starting the car now and then all is nice and peaceful. No more railway crossings coming up, reminders to turn on headlights when it's bright sun etc. Mind you, I did miss remonstrating with her for a wee while.

I managed to program a pioneer carozzeria in English. Now all is in English working nice and smooth. Also attached a rear view camera which works fine with it.

Good that you managed to get it to English. I really don't use it, and as the maps are of places in Japan, not much use here. Am just glad that the wittering woman has been shut up.
If I need directions to a place, set it up on my phone, and Google tells me where to go.

Some of my cars in the past I have had to read the owner's manual and us blokes don't usually do that.

This one was easy but when I had a motorbike as well I gave up with that as it was too difficult and I could never see it in the sunlight anyway,
