Israel says it plans to become the first country to roll out a fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as the country prepares for a wave of infections driven by the new Omicron variant.

My question..
Would you have a 3rd and 4th Covid vaccination ?

Yes, we've had 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the advice of the vaccinator because of our age. Why wouldn't you if its offered?

Well the latest ONS infection survey (Dec 21st) shows that the estimated likelihood of testing positive for Omicron INCREASES the more vaccinations you have had with an odds ratio of 1 for unvaccinated...

It increases to 1.57 (one vaccine), 2.26 (two vaccines), 4.45 (three vaccines)

In the conclusion to the paper it states:      "Those who have received three doses of a vaccine and test positive for COVID-19 are more likely to be infected with infections compatible with the Omicron variant compared with those who are unvaccinated..."

You can find the data here:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulation ... forcovid19

Food for thought?

Don't be silly. Post removed as it was a duplicate of what you had already posted.

From the Results Page of the spread sheet, the last line is of importance.

Vaccination status: Those who have received three doses of a vaccine and test positive for COVID-19 are more likely to be infected with infections compatible with the Omicron variant compared with those who are unvaccinated, though individuals who had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine continued to be less likely to test positive for COVID-19, regardless of variant. It is too early to draw conclusions from our data on the effectiveness of vaccines against the Omicron variant.

I agree tutor4u

Ask yourself though have you heard about this research from any other outlet?
Surely it needs to be looked at and debated.
Again ask yourself why is this not happening?

I listen to and monitor many news sources all day long and literally all I hear at the moment is get your booster to protect from Omicron it is the single and only narrative out there at the moment.

Yet this data study from the ONS SUGGESTS that you are 4x more likely to contract Omicron if you are triple jabbed than not jabbed, I highlight this because someone needs to.

[Going forward what really bothers me is what if the 'next variant' (Lambda) 's ratios actually expand exponentially in the fashion of this study?]

Then after every one who has been vaccinated will catch it and increase the chance of herd immunity working for those who did not get vaccinated! No thanks needed! Happy to help!

Having been vaxed 4 times, there is a bit of me that feels guilty having watched the CEO of WHO (more than once) saying that pandemics will never be controlled if at least EVERYONE especially in 3rd world countries has at least one or more vax. Particularly when it was announced a couple of weeks back that 160 (116) million more doses has been ordered in UK for next year.

Saw on BBC News today about the Aussies trialing a Heparin nasal spray - Prof said it looks good as he has been using it for the last 20 months and his nose has not fallen off and he has not bled to death yet - lol. Could be a game changer for all those non vaxers and of course those who normally sniff lines of stuff up their hooters anyway! Maybe they could even add it to vapers mixtures as well as tobacco products - or maybe they already have.......

There is also a "Pill" ready for release onto the general market next year - the wonders of modern science in action or is it just another bit of misinformation like these - https://cosmos.ualr.edu/misinformation

There is a lot of misinformation around for sure
Look at this poor sod who needs an oxygen mask to breath.
He’s just had/having his lunch and is coming out with longer sentences than Judge Lawton without pausing for breath. That look genuine to you?

This Omicrom variant has killed, ummmm, one in the USA.

One. In a population exceeding 270,000,000.

These cries for vaccines come only because the drug companies need this revenue.

And, if it WERE a vaccine then it would prevent the disease. Yet those with Omicron had all be poked with this experimental drug.

Sorry to disagree on my second post here but this new found and accepted mandates by those in charge will continue until the people that are having their freedoms stolen say enough.
