Has anyone lost or know of someone who has lost a very tame but mobile Muscovy duck.
This little fellow flew in some days ago and has adopted our swimming pool and garden.Sleeps by the pool at night and has no fear of cats etc.He even waddles up to the patio and taps on the patio door for food.. He has not been clipped so can fly. Tashkent nature says he’s not a wild animal so are not interested. Any ideas folks.

There are a couple of Muscovy ducks at Calamari restaurant in Lapta (in the pond not the kitchen!)

Well he is still here and nobody has claimed him. He flies off for a few hours daily and then returns for a swim and spends the night by the pool. I’ve heard of imprinting when they are young but this little chappie has taken it beyond reason. He has all the stray cats as mates and shares his food with them. WILDLIFE Is truly unbelievable. Do they migrate and he has just lost his way.

That is so cute. I don't think they migrate, so you might have acquired a new wee buddy. My daughter used to have some as pets when she was younger, but their wings were clipped. Just watch out if you plant leafy veg, as they will get scoffed.
