Crossing to South with a car

Has anyone been over since the new regulations this year re tax waver for one day only? Have there been queues, if so how long does it take. Are they only going to have wavers at Metahan? My daughter lives Famagusta side, will take almost a day there and back to visit.

Crossed at 0750, TOM office open, no Que at border or office! Mr Happy has a helper, he won’t last long - he smiles! One day only on new (to us) TOM 89A small form in Greek and Turkish.
