Is there another gas shortage? This morning I went to 5 shops, none of which had any gas. I asked at the last one and was told “gas, problem”.

Probably because there's a rumour its going up to 240tl!!!

No problem in Dipkarpaz, but then all the rumours were in English!!! Got my two bottles today - 180tl each

180? The guy we use charges 240!

The price is fixed and was increased from 140tl recently. Is there perhaps a delivery charge of 60tl included in the 240tl you are paying?

Perhaps, are there any places around Karaoglanoglu where you can pick a bottle up from? Happy to travel up to catalcoy or alsancak etc

No point in hoarding bottles the shops only get 1 tl per bottle sold regardless of the cost.

So are there still no deliveries to the shops?
Read somewhere they have renegotiated the profit to 3tl big deal eh!!

Thanks, will do, where abouts is it? No clue about Roadhouse I'm afraid.

Just been to erdener (east of girne) and got a bottle of gas 180tl. Not sure how.many bottles they have though.

Roadhouse is opposite Ya Beles Fruit n Veg market. On the main Girne-Lapta road.

East side of Girne - small Yapi market almost next to Al Bank in Karakum had gas this morning - you can see the bottles near the main road. I gave her 200TL and she refused to give me change, insisting the price was now 200TL. I had the gas already in the car & knew there was a shortage so accepted it, I wasn't getting anywhere arguing with her anyway. I told her I wasn't happy and would check the price elsewhere & be back. She just walked away. As if it isn't expensive enough already! The price stipulated by the government is still 180TL!! Be aware & ask the price first!

Got a bottle at Erdeners today 180tl

There was a huge delivery at Supreme this morning, I followed the truck in.

Brazen the gas supplier in Alsancak is certainly next to the Road House but not opposite Ya Beles, the vegetable shop. Its on same side as Road House but about 2or 3 hundred yards further down. Its a really tiny little "shop" with a bolted fenced off area to the right, I believe he only sells blue canisters. He's better known as the Poison Man. If you should need any for rats etc!!

The shop is called 'Yemci'

185tl at Hos Bes Lapta. To be fair he did put the full one in the car for me and took the empty out.

Anyone know where I can get Koop gaz (light green cylinders) east side? Couldn’t find any two days ago.
