I know that this has come up in discussion many times, but not lately. If you've had implants within the last six months for example could you let me know what you paid per implant, how long did it take from start to finish, what Dentist did you use and have you been happy with the results (be honest!!) Thanks very much.

I have had 4 implants and a complete set of top teeth just recently. Whole process which included some 6 extractions of broken crowns took about 4 months. The implants are Strauman which are considered good quality and the cost was £3.500. I have felt totally comfortable with my new nashers as opposed to dentures which made me gag. The dentist was Telemechi who was very professional and highly recommended to me by a number of people. I do not know the cost of individual implants. Well worth the money and effort. Good luck.

Jackvern I think you mean Temelci! I too had implants done by him 5 years ago and extremely pleased with them.

I too can recommend Temelci. I had implants done by him 11 years ago very pleased and no problems at all. Hubby has also had them a few years ago, also very pleased with the results. I cannot confirm current prices but very satisfied at the time with the cost. I know people do go to Turkey as it is cheaper, but you have to take into account the overall cost of several visits.

Before I start doing price comparisons I was really asking for fairly recent costings. I had some done 5 years ago, but I'm sure prices have gone up leaps and bounds and without actually going to Dentists personally yet, I was hoping for more recent prices if possible. Jack Vern, sorry for being nosey, but how long did your give dentures before jacking them in?

Sorry I thought you were also asking what dentists were used and if happy, which I answered, no idea of current costs but you could just go and get a quote.

I am sure that many people can cope with dentures but in my case it was a no no. I did t last very long with them even though I only had a partial plate. I took immediately to implants and it’s fair to say I don’t even notice them now. Thanks for the correction on the dentists name. He’s a really nice fellow. As the process takes a few months you can pay the cost in instalments which is what I did.

Hey there! I recently got dental implants, so I thought I'd share my experience. I paid around $2,500 per implant, but keep in mind that prices can vary depending on your location and the complexity of the procedure. The entire process took me about six months from start to finish, including the healing time.
