I would think you know as much as the rest of us. BTW, any particular reason why you have singled out C. West. In the meantime, I'm just off to my next door neighbours who are Ukrainian and family live in Odessa and Kiev.

Crediwest is completely safe and has nothing to do with "Russian connections". Creditwest has Russian speaking customer reps, hence, it's being preferred by Russian customers. As a matter of fact today I opened a gold account with them (all done online), putting a big amount of my savings into gold, since currencies will suffer greatly due to inflation. Already after the war started gold price went up drastically. I would advise people who have deposits in currency to go for gold. Both local and Turkish banks here offer this options and buying price is quite good.

I advice you invest into palladium. It's an industrial precious metal mainly mined in Russia and its use will peak by 2027-2030 and then will be phased out as electric motors will be more common.
I'm hoarding palladium now.
