Tests will not be required from fully vaccinated people when entering the TRNC as of March 1

The Ministry of Health announced that as of March 1, tests will not be required from fully vaccinated people when entering the country. It was stated that the decision regarding the inter-island transits will be announced after the meeting to be held on 2 March 2022.

Announcing the decisions taken by the Communicable Diseases Supreme Committee convened within the scope of the Infectious Diseases Law 45/2018, the ministry made the following statement:
As of March 1, 2022, tests will not be required from fully vaccinated persons when entering the country.
Fully vaccinated persons include persons 14 days past the double dose, a single dose for Johnson; however, if more than 270 days have passed from the second dose, a reminder dose is required.

Unvaccinated persons or persons who have not completed vaccinations will be able to enter the country providing that they do PCR 72 hours before or antigen 24 hours before traveling, but they will have to repeat the test 72-120 hours after entry.

The decision on the relevant change in intra-island crossings will be announced after the Bi-Communal Health Technical Committee meeting to be held on March 2, 2022.

Quick question- if flying into Larnaca is there still a requirement to take a test at the airport when landing for fully vaccinated passengers?

Thanks

I understand that family arriving here via Ercan on 10th March won't need tests, but can Pegasus insist they have antigent prior to boarding. I can't see it anywhere on Pegasus screen, but they must have read it somewhere.

I understand that that has been stopped from 1st March 2022. But you will need a negative Antigen test to cross over to the TRNC. However, awaiting news of this possibly changing very soon.

Not seen this anywhere. Best check with airline or agent. Can't see why.
