Miss No Name - Desperate plea for help

Good Morning.
I am writing this asking for help for a young female Kangal Cross dog who has turned up on my neighbours doorstep about one week ago.
At the time she was cowered, nervous and frightened with her tail tucked under her legs at all times.
You could see she wanted to be friendly and trust you but was just too scared. A few days on every time she sees me it is straight onto her back with her legs in the air asking for her belly to be tickled. She gives you her paw and I have walked her on a lead.
She has been at the front of my neighbours villa but now she is gaining confidence she is starting to wander and investigate things. There are some in the area that do not want her here and I am really worried that something is going to happen to her. I am taking her tomorrow hopefully to the Vets to be health checked and neutered. After her treatment she will have NO where to go.
All she needs is a safe place even just in a garden, some time and attention and obviously love and care.
She will make someone/s a ''cracking' dog who would be ideal to be a companion on walks on the beach or in the mountains.
I know this is a long shot but I am running out of time for her. 0533 8686078. Please contact me if you can help Miss No Name in anyway. Thank you. She has NO microchip.

bigbadbob, The first really good thing you've done(doing) is to have her neutered, that way at least, she won't be gang raped when she comes on heat. Kangal (crossed or not, are such loving creatures). If the worst comes and you can't find a permanent home. is there any chance that she could become "your street dog" i.e. she stays in your immediate area and everyone chips in with food and water, but away from any particular specific house. It does happen in some areas and not ideal but it's better than nothing. Good Luck to you and Missy.

Thank you benjaminbutton for your advice and concern.
The worry is for her that not everybody wants her in the area. We ''know''' what can happen to the dog if this is the case.
She is a very intelligent dog and now she has gained her confidence and her personality is coming out she can be quite lively.
My SIX ''Oldie Goldies'' could not keep up with her!
I don't know where else to ask for help for her. If there is anyone reading this or if anyone knows of anyone that can help please get in touch. :x)) Everything crossed.
Take care all and stay safe. BBB's other half.

Nervous this morning as it is Miss No Names BIG day. Off to see Altay and Mert for them to work their magic! After care for her and THEN!
If there is anyone reading this who could offer her just a space to have a run around in which she loves to do but also space for her to give you cuddles and have her belly tickled.
I know there are so many dogs/puppies out there needing homes and it is a big ask. Miss No Name would give so much loyality, devotion and love and would want for so little back.
Stay safe. Take care.

Much appreciated Soner and thank you, I have one I can send.
Miss No name was a star this morning. I was worried how she would cope with the car but she pleasantly surprised me.
I moved the car near to where she is and left the door open and then walked up. Bless her she came bounding out and then sat for me to put a lead on her and just walked with me and she literally jumped in the car. No problem!
I took her for a Drive by to keep her calm and she loved it. She just sat on the back seat looking out at everything and she was ''laughing'.
I let her have a good sniff outside the Vets and then Altay and Mert came out to us. She got a little bit nervous then as anyone would at 2 strange men in masks but Altay just picked her up and carried her in..
I will know later today how everything has gone.
Take care. BBB's other half.

Benjaminbutton as posted to Ozankoys I thought a German Shepherd cross but someone else thought Kangol.
Whatever Miss No Name is she is a softie but is a lively girl now but responds so quickly to new commands and changes .
How she coped today was amazing!
Thank you for caring.

Good morning.
Ihave messaged with Altay and asked him Miss No Name's approximate age and her weight. He thinks she is between 2 -3 years old and she weighs 18 kgs.
Hopefully she will have had a restful night.
Take care. Still ''wishing and a hoping' that someone will be able to help me help her..

bbb, the really problem being, we that are dog/animal lovers have gone through this dilemma, in our case, until recently 5+ times and come to the decision that as we get older we'll love and care for all our rescued babies until the end, but not succumb to taking on any more. In our case we are determined to stick to it. Its the dilemma that hundreds of us face all the time. We have strays wandering around our area all the time and its heart breaking, particularly in weather like this. I had three of them jump on my bed during the night because of the thunder. I gave them a bit of a lecture and told them just how lucky they were.

In addition to Kibkom have you posted on FB to some of the Animal Groups to extend the audience?

Thank you to the last two posters for caring and I totally agree that some of us are now too old to take on anymore and have enough with the ones that we do have. Four out of my six are rescues and I would not be without them but I cannot take on anymore.
Yes. I have tried FB sites including the animal charities. KAR only allow posts on their site for dogs in their care.I have asked if a post can go on Hope4Pets. I have posted on The Silent Ones and asked if a post can go on Altin Patiler. Barking Mad and Paws for a Cause have shared her posts. Don't know where else to go!
Thank you both again.

BBB's other half. It is really upsetting to hear of your dilemma. It's just so unfair on these dogs who get dumped, through no fault of their own. Like others, I am not in a position to take on any more dogs, and getting on, couldn't cope with a lively dog which needs plenty of exercise. I do hope that you find a home for her. Well done on having her neutered. At least she will not be in the position of having numerous litters and further adding to the problem.

That's another problem alphamike isn't it. My last rescue is now about two and a half, the others range from 12 down to 9 and at two and a half the latest is just about to become a teenager and all that involves. Consequently the others are not happy with this rumbustious (but lovely) latecomer added to the household. It should improve when weather improves and they aren't confined to barracks!!

It is indeed. I can well understand your oldies with the young thing. My totally laid back old thing of about 11/12 years can stand about 10 seconds of a young dog, and gets as grumpy as me after that.
In my mind I'd love to be able to go for long energetic walks, but alas the body fails me miserably on that score.
Keeping all crossed for a good outcome for Miss No Name.

alphamike and benjaminbutton thank you. It means alot to know that others do care. I have been to see Miss No Name at the Vets and just got back in.. I could not go yesterday as I was unwell but a good friend who works every day caring for the street animals here went for me.. What a welcome! Altay and Mert were grinning from ear to ear watching it. It was bang! bang! on her cage wall with her tail wagging and thumping on it. She tried to give me her paw through the wire gate and she looks so well. I got my fingers kissed through the bars. She has coped brilliantly with it all and she does'nt even
know me really. I have only spent odd minutes with her over a few days. I am picking her up in the morning bless her.
Stay warm.

bbb, we're a nice lot you know we dog lovers (none better) I still think, if all appears lost, if you can persuade your neighbours to get together and jointly take her on, its a whole lot better than nothing. Thinking of you, cos loads of us have been in the same position.

Morning. Not a good one!
I cannot put it off any longer so am just going to pick Miss No Name up from the Vets, I am dreading it and feeling sick.
Please anyone who maybe be thinking of adding to their family or even just wanting a faithful companion think of Miss No Name. She would give so much to someone.
I will do my best for her but am limited to what I can do! One of my dogs is poorly and will be back for more tests next week.
Wish me luck Kibkomers and thank you for your concerns and caring . 0533 8686078 I will keep on trying for her

Thank you Soner.
For all those that have been reading Miss No Name's story . An Update!
I have been writing stories/posts about Miss No Name and so many good people have been sharing these . I think Miss No Name touched many hearts.
On Saturday evening a lady read one of these posts on a site that I am not a member but through friends we were put in contact.
Yesterday Miss No Name and I went on a roadtrip to meet Jeanette and her husband Mike and their handsome dog Chancer
Miss No Name is NO more. She is now Miss LUCY with a loving and caring Mum and Dad. and a family home to share with them and her adopted brother Chancer. I could not have imagined or dreamt of a better home for her !
My heartfelt thanks to Jeanette and Mike for giving Lucy a chance and thank you to everyone who has helped me help her,
She is one of the LUCKY Ones.
I am so choked up! Take care everyone.

How absolutely wonderful for you and Miss Lucy. Couldn't be more chuffed. I just wish I could the same for the five strays that have started to wander up and down in all weathers outside my place. I just wish they would stop scratching on the gate to get in. Its heartbreaking. Three of them have "owners" who can't be bothered with them.
