How is the weather at the moment, I have heard it is chilly? How chilly?

Very chilly worst in 20yr

We had family over for four days over the weekend and s---s law being what it is, I think it has been the coldest three weeks since we have lived here. Heating in house is really struggling.

Back in the day I had an officer who always told me there is no such thing as bad weather - just bad clothing! I would love to see him out here this month in his best shorts and T Shirts - lol. It's cold no matter what clothing you wear outside, it's cold anyway!!!!

Today I am frozen. I have four layers of clothing on and still so cold. Power cuts to come again later so hot food and hot shower now so at least I will be clean and fed. Candles, matches and torch at the ready !SUNNY and WARM Cyprus where are you?

kibsolar 1999 you are so right. If I knew 19 years ago what I know now.......................................

I am confident that in a weeks time the temperature will be 18-20C during the day.

3º tonight in Dipkarpaz, not so bad in the daytime 12º with quite a bit of sun.

Posh in Devon, hope you are correct, I need to save a bit on our heating bills!! When you have a property that is 100% electricity, it gets a bit much.

I stupidly thought that I wouldn't need to use AC so much this month. It's been on more than ever: Kibtek bill is going to have to be read with a strong glass of something at the ready, for recuperative purposes.

Has anybody know/have info on Nigel Heasman? It's been a long-time daily practice for me to check his site (http://www.nigelheasman.com/) when I'm back in the UK, but it has not updated for over two weeks - I hope he's OK!
