Any Arcelic store. You will have a genuine guarantee and their service is second to none imo

I would definitely second silverfir. Having purchased very nice but very expensive non Turkish makes in the past, problems arose when repairs were needed and the guarantees had run out.

Obtaining the replacement parts was a big issue having to be sourced from outside TRNC at significant cost and long wait times.

Buying an appliance from Arçelık (other Turkish brands are available) makes good sense with as silverfir mentioned, a genuine guarantee and exceptional aftersales service for televisions and other appliances.

Try Tekno, cheap enough but not sure about warranty & after-service, ask!

Warranty & after sales service are more important than discount so we will go to Arcelik

There is also Beko which is Arcelik made for the european market, the advantage being that the instructions will be in English.

I agree with Brazen re Beko being the European name for Arcelik. The girl in the Beko tried to be helpful when I bought my last vacuum cleaner, but then it wasn't her fault that I can't speak Turkish!!

Do not buy from Sharaf. Faulty goods - TCL TV, Samsung smart watch and water dispenser. TV has had the LEDs replaced 3 times over the past 3 years. They charged me for the last replacement. Very poor after sales service. Manager would not return my calls. Rubbish, be warned!

Thanks for replies although they were not the cheapest we have gone with Arcelik as we know they will honour the 3 year guarantee if necessary
