Went and Booked on Wednesday for Sunday at the hotel as better to see a face. The reception Rang the restaurant. The price is 500 this Sunday and 625 Easter Sunday . Booked and gave name and number
Friends just booked and was told it's now 625. I rang and indeed it is now 625.
I have cancelled on principal. Disgraceful to do that. When I would have turned up on Sunday unaware it would have been annoying and embarrassing for us as that's just wrong
So beware if you are just taking the amount and not the extra. Yes .. I know it's good food and yes I know it's only X in sterling . It's the poor way they do things here

That’s a hefty price rise that! I do love a Sunday at the Kaya, but they are pricing me out of it tbh!

I know you cant compare however as an example, the Courtyard are doing an Easter Sunday lunch with a lovely menu 3 courses, sirloin steak included as an option and entertainment for 18 pounds per head, a bargain in my opinion.

Please dont shoot the messenger, like I said you cannot compare like for like but that sounds good value to me. I am not connected in any way to the Courtyard although we did have a lovely curry there last night.

susiesusie, you are only confirming something I have suspected for some time. Now I don't know or want to know you financial situation, however I believe that "ordinary" people like me, are no longer wanted in these 5 star establishments. For those over from the UK, or live here, who mentally convert to sterling all the time, I suppose it doesn't seem a lot, but after reading the front of C.T, to learn that annual inflation has soared to 83%, it is a huge increase.

It's disgraceful. No apologies. No warning. No phone call. It would have ruined our day for the 5 of us as the bill would have come at the end. Can you imagine Tobe ordered to pay another 625 TL. Not a chance I would have paid then it kicks off for no rault of my own

Can I clarify that this is just for Easter? Or for ever? Just told the missus and she thinks it’s just for Easter as they are handing Easter eggs out?

I bet the average Muslim hasn't a clue what Easter is but by golly they'll make jolly sure they'll benefit from it.

Oh well, that's K.P crossed off our list.

These places should have a price that excludes drinks, even 500 is too much if you don't drink.
