Btw, what are the latest rules on masks? Do you still have to wear them in shops and when entering bars / restaurants?

War Hose if you are coming Turkish Air there is no problem as it is scheduled air. we flew out from Manchester 2 weeks ago and no problem until I arrived back and I was one of the unlucky ones whose car was parked in a field. spent 5 hours finding out where it was and spent £90 on a taxi.
Apparently the guy who was running the Meet & Greet had a falling out with the guy that owned the field and did a runner with about 200 car keys.
Police finally got them back off him.

Supermarkets and shops, don't see many folks wearing them entering bars and restaurants. Seems like some places are giving up such as money exchanges. With the end of the app and lower numbers I'm hoping masks become optional.

Some pharmacists have totally disregarded masks, but went into one yesterday, who still has a rope across the door insists in masks and only one person served at a time. She is very close to one of the Uni's.!!!

TAKEN FROM ANOTHER TRNC FORUM FOR INFORMATION.
Please be aware that the notice to airlines (NOTAM) is not due to be officially updated until 24 April. It appears airlines are still looking for completion of the Guvende Kal paperwork. It is suggested that until the official update has been done that travellers complete GK and print off in case needed.
NO NEED TO COMMENT ON THIS. IT IS WHAT IT IS AND SHOULD BE RECTIFIED SOON.

Is this for travellers coming via Ercan only and not the south?
Do you think it’s worth doing just in case? (Coming via larnaca)

Personally if I was travelling to the TRNC either direct into Ercan or via the south in the next few days I would complete the GK, print it out and have it just in case. You may not be asked for it but better to be prepared.
The official NOTAM is due to be updated very soon.

Information as of this morning was that the new official NOTAM had not been issued and it would be updated soon.
Thanks.

Bugger, I thought I'd got out of it. Why can't the authorities supply us with the correct information????

The official NOTAM has been issued. Airlines/check in staff should now have that information.
I would suggest you print out the information on the NOTAM link and present it if you have any issues. Recent posts on a number of North Cyprus forums from those who have travelled in the last 24hrs are saying no Guvende Kal information was asked for. Just proof of vaccination.

Just to confirm what posh said, we arrived yesterday via Larnaca, no Guvende Kal asked for, just our vaccination certificates.

Do we need to have a digital covid pass when we have been staying in Cyprus for 6 weeks as we had to show it when entering into Larnaca airport, the app has run out as it is only for 30 days, but it does show the injections in printed form. We just dont know if we have to show the covid pass getting out of Cyprus ! TIA …

We flew home out of Larnaca last week, had hard copies of vaccinations and NO one asked to see them anywhere, just passports

On the GOV/UK Cyprus site on 1st June it was stated that as from !st June the ROC no longer required any proof of vaccination or recovery. So passport only needed.
But on the same site on 1st June it still says that you must have a completed Passenger Country Entry Form ( Guvende Kal?) to enter North Cyprus.
It is most confusing to read that the GK is no longer required on this forum but the official advice from HMG is that you do need it.
Not that I believe all I read from HMG, or indeed anywhere else.
