Has anyone parked ar Ercan before? If so, is it safe and what's the cost? Called a couple of taxi;s for transfer and the prices being quoted just seem ridiculous, gone by 25% in a month (used a taxi last month to ercan and back). Or alternatively is anyone aware of a Taxi that is reasonably priced. Would need a large van type thing.

We parked at the main airport car park in February for 10 days, 277tl. May have gone up a bit now think I read somewhere it was 30tl a day now. Is difficult to find because if you put in Parking at Ercan it gives you the car park just outside not the one in front of the terminal which is number plate recognition and you pay when you come out. We just like the convenience and was/is cheaper than taxi….

Parked at Ercan Airport last week 3 nights (4 days?) came to 102tl

Is it far to walk with luggage from airport to the parking area.

We parked for 4 nights 5 days in the overflow car park it was only 127 tl!
We used a trolley for our cases but it is not far to walk.

We used main car park 5 days 4 nights 127TL. 100 metres from main terminal!!

I parked there yesterday for 40 mins it was 20tl hardly any spaces at 10 am.

Any information on "average" taxi prices from Girne would be welcome please?

We paid £35 from Esentepe to Ercan last month, it shouldn't be more than that.

Karapasha in Karakum show prices on their website are £25 to Ercan airport.....

It must depend on how far away you are from Ercan. I.e I suspect Karapasha would be more than 25pounds if he was asked to pick someone up from say, Alsancak.

Thanks compass. BJB, quite correct from Alsancak but I did ask for "From Girne" anyway so all information useful.

If anyone interested - parked at main car park in front of Ercan airport 16-28th June cost 370tl……
