Quite an eye-opening experience...... Noters used to be a much cheaper option compared to solicitors, but being quoted around the thousand pounds to purchase a house and do permission to purchase.

Still cheaper than a solicitor but.....

Compass, that's one merry go round that was only a matter of time before Notars jumped on.

Agreed bjb, it was only a matter of time......... two solicitors have both quoted £1500 for them to do exactly the same work which is surprising really.
