Local police wanted to review my CCTV system today as they are investigating a house burglary in the vicinity between Rafters and the main Kyrenia Road. This apparently happened between 3am and 6am and cash and jewellery stolen. Occupants at home at the time. No other details available. Heads up folks just be aware.

I wouldn't hesitate, we have been burgled three times.

How did they gain access?

Re Ozankoy burglary, same area. About a week ago my dogs started barking 04:15 in the morning. Got ot of bed and saw a figure walking along our quiet dark lane that is a dead end. Went back after getting dressed saw the person walking back along the lane.
I shouted out I had phoned the police he jumped on a scooter and fled within seconds.
The police were notified.
In our experience the windows door security were laughable , have massively improved them and fitted lighting above every point of entry.

Thornaby. The CID from Kyrenia police station visited me again today as they appear to be flooding the area to trace the burglar.
I mentioned I had posted it on Kibkom and your response. The detective has asked me to contact you and for you to telephone him on 0542 880 6035. His name is BARIS. He did not seem to be aware of the incident. Hope this is OK with you.

Hi Jack vern, phoned Barish, explained things said he will phone back. In our experience the police response to burglary has been first class.
