Just for info of Smartdnsproxy users. Haven't been able to access BBC or ITV since last night. Checked on status page on their website, and they are having issues with one of their UK servers and are working on it.

Channels 4 and 5 and STV seem to be working ok, or at least I can access the websites.

alphamike, thanks for that, was beginning to wonder what had happened. Haven't tried 4 and 5, but my now favourite news programme GBNews is always steaming away, so is YouTube. Only watch in the evenings for catch ups.

You are welcome BB. I knew straight away as it has happened one time before, so checked the status. Just checked and issue has been sorted, BBC and ITV now working again.

Don't know about you alphamike, but we haven't had BBC or ITV or download for two days/nights now. Are you the same.

I don't download directly from BBC or ITV using their apps, I use GetiPlayerAutomator on my mac, and that's working as downloaded a BBC programme today. I'll give it a try tomorrow using their apps and get back to you. Please feel free to remind me if I don't get back to you.

Working fine for me direct from BBC and download via iPlayer. Following any restart and at intervals I visit my account and reactivate my ip.

I'm using a minipc with Windows 11.

For Channel 4 ITV (any Channels that carry advertising) I have set the system clock to UK time, otherwise the advert breaks create a conflict which their streaming servers translates as 'it seems you are not in the UK'

BB downloads are working fine for me on BBC using the BBC app. Don't seem to have an option to download ITV programmes.
