Most of the bigger supermarkets stock some vegetarian food. Look in the freezer section of Sah for Quorn products. Erdener has some veggie products in the freezer section, and also things like tofu, soy mince and Veggy brand vegan kofte and kebap (they are all together on a small display with gluten free stuff). There's also the Health Food Store in Catalkoy which had some vegan stuff.
There's also lots of cheese/spinach/potato type pastries available in freezer section of all supermarkets. Frozen pizzas are available too.
Sorry I can't be more helpful as ready processed food tends not to agree with me, otherwise I might have more info.

Thanks, Şah did have quite a bit last year, even Linda McCartneys but only Quorn mince now, I did think about the health shop there's also a veggie cafe round near Altinkaya, I'll look there.
Thank you

Atakara Store in Alsancak always has a selection of hot deli takeaway stuff. They tend to change the two hot dishes every day. Ilelli also has at least two or more hot veggie dishes every day, and probably more if you learn what the dishes contain in Turkish. They also have a selection of veggie stuff in the tall frozen cabinets right at the back of the shop in the corner. There is more and more Veggie and Vegan items available in most super stores, you just have to poke around and they'll be there.

Here's a link to the Veggy brand products, so that you'll know what you are looking for. They are on the shelf, not in freezers.

And Turkish version

I've never seen Linda McCartney and a couple of other makes, in anything other than freezer or chiller cabinets. BTW ginge, there is a new medium sized supermarket called Elysee immediately after Gepas Yapi market on RHS, coming out of Alsancak, who are starting to specialise in some very weird and wonderful dried food, you might find something a bit different!!! Only last week they had a bit of a turn around of shelves, but it was stocked very close to the check outs (unless they have gone and moved those as well)

BB I'm not a lover of Linda McCartney stuff, and Quorn only the plain fillets, bacon or the mince. Am not even a fussy eater, but the older I get some things kill me. Maybe it's because I don't eat processed stuff, the old body isn't used to it.
Still not managed to get along your way to investigate that shop.....one of these days.
Ginge, I've had the plain and smoked tofu, the tofu kebap and vegan kofte and I've liked them all. Haven't tried anything else. Erdener definitely stock it, Health Food store did have a couple of products, seen it elsewhere too, but can't remember where. The smoked tofu at a push, can be used as a bacon substitute if thinly sliced.

If you are taking about Linda McCartney type then they had some right at the bottom chiller cabinet in Ilellis. There weren't a whole load so it looks as if stuff is going fast now holiday makers are arriving in their droves. I'm not a veggie but frequently eat some of the selection offered in restaurants here i.e. Vegetables in a clay pot at Blue Song, lovely. I also buy the frozen falafel as well.

I've seen sausages in freezer section in Erdener, but whether they have any now is another thing.

Forgot to mention, there is also a good Fish Shop in Karaoglanoglu. On LHS after the Ciba shops, next door to the PCR testing place that used to be GEMS the jewellers. On corner of one of the roads that lead to The Merit. (unless they have stopped testing now of course)

Making your own Glamorgan sausages is very easy. And delicious, I have a great recipe if you want it I make batches and freeze them for veggie daughter's visits They are so good meat eaters love them too.

Muaz Vegetarian (in the same parade as Uncle Sam's in Karakum) is, for me, the best veggie eatery here.
As to supermarkets; Sah, Illeli do stock Quorn & Linda McCartney most of the time. The Veggy brand are very good. Usually found with the organic section or in the freezer.
