Can anyone advise if the shoe repair shop on the road up to the motorway in lKaraoglanoglu is still open and trading? Many thanks.

Yes, he's able to do limited repairs but no making new shoes. He is struggling with ability to put sufficient strength into upper arms but he'll stick and nail in the usual way with some stitching. Such a lovely man.

Yes, he is coming up to retirement.. our loss and yes what a lovely man he is.

Many thanks for your help. Yes, he is very good he can turn his hand to anything leather. Hopefully, he will be open next week.

There is a great shoe mender in Famagusta, near the big weekly Market/Pazaar

There is also a shoe repairer/maker in Alsancak. Placed an order for new pair and feel absolutely gutted, terrible job.

There used to be a shoe repair shop in the parade of shops directly behind the Alsancak Belediyesi, same building at the end. I'm not sure if it's the same one Benjaminbutton was referring too, but did a few good jobs for me.
