Rum & raisin flavour ice cream, where?
Good morning all.
I have not found rum & raisin flavour ice cream anywhere in the north. Yet, not 100 steps across the Ledra street crossing there it is for sale.
Anyone seen this flavour ice cream for sale in the north?
TIA

Used to get it in Mardo next to Supreme Supermarket, but you had to ask for it was not on the list. Have not tried for ages though!

Had it in Mardos in İskele. You do have to ask for it as they do not put it on display. Try any of the larger branches.

Thanks for the replies...
Not sure I would want dusted off "under the shelf" freezer-aged ice cream tbh. Gawd knows how long a container would be stored that way for. Displayed stock would be sold fairly quickly, imho. So why not put it on display?

Apparently popular with foreigners, so kept in back freezer but sold well. Mine was nice.

We had rum and raisin ice cream from Mardo in Iskele a couple of days ago. It was definitely very yummy. As mentioned above, not on display but if you ask for it, they will likely to have it. Enjoy!

I wonder just how much extra foreigners have to pay, just because its kept back especially for them??? Seems a bit suspicious to me.

Had a Mardos ice cream on the Harbour 10tl for a 1 scoop cornet lots of flavours not sure about the rum and raisin. £1.50 or more for the cornet here in the UK, at Tatton Park flower show last year they were charging £3.50 for a cornet with one scoop.
