Just read that there were around 2,500 new cases last week and the wearing of mask in closed areas has been brought back in.

That's without the figures that will no doubt increase in the near future due to the holiday period over the weekend.

I was thinking the same. Next week will show how many bought it back. Nice of the finance minister to bugger off to when he was needed to sort out a major problem

Surely it is the Health Minister we need to be here, no idea why you feel the need for the Finance Minister to be here 🤣😂😱

Yeah and we are stuck here, having to wear masks🤔😢😩 life sucks sometimes

Not being applied in a well known Catalkoy supermarket this morning. Not many customers and none of the staff wearing masks.....

The information has certainly reached TC's etc arriving at Ercan. . Yesterday evening when it was announced on the plane that we would be landing in about ten minutes, there was a sudden rush to put on masks. Difficult to make a guess but I should think about 25% at least started to wear them prior to landing. Not many Brits on board, but I suspect they were not amongst the 25%.
