Any ideas? having problems getting onto iplayer,its saying error code 02062. Had this problem before but cleared cache and changed vpn location and came back on.Uninstalled both iplayer and vpn and then installed again but same result.My vpn is called vulture.Any help welcomed.

Have you contacted Vulture to ask if there is a problem with BBC blocking their VPN?

I once had a problem with this on my new firestick and I was told to take it back to the UK and tune in to iplayer at home, then when it was taken back to Cyprus the iplayer worked. I was told that this trick worked with any 'devices' or plug-in black box decoders. Would it work for you?

I use smartdnsproxy and rarely have any bother with it. When I do, support is really good, and they are pretty good at being on the ball for BBC etc..
Been with them 4 years now.
I just set up the smart dns bit on the devices rather than the router, although you do get a VPN too, but rarely use that. You can get a 14 day free trial.

Have you set up smart DNS proxy on a Firestick? I'm using Express VPN at the moment, it works well but a bit expensive.

I don't have a Firestick. I vaguely remember setting it up for a friend a good while ago, but can't remember if it was on Firestick or Kindle tablet. They are no longer here, so can't check. Sorry my memory is getting so bad at times.
It's really easy to set it up on android phone and iPad....both I've done recently, so I remember.
There are instructions on the website though to set it up on Fire TV, so imagine Firestick would be the same.

You can always give the free trial a bash and see if it works for you.

My Express VPN works for BBC & ITV, but not channel 4 or 5. It says I'm out of the country.

I vaguely remember someone saying that for some UK channels you need to change time on your device to UK time. I haven't had any experience of this, just something I remember reading on this forum.

Channel 4 and 5 work fine with smartdnsproxy just for info.
