Hi we always use Kaplica ,as we live in Esentepe . Very clean and sea Very good for children, not too deep. Also has nice restaurant and beach bar .Prices have gone up, but now charging 30tl for use of sunbeds and umbrella. All day.

We've used the man made beach at Esentepe on a few occasions. The restaurant was supposed to be changing hands shortly after we left last time early June. Our neighbours all use it as well so that's good testimony. Good food, good menu and reasonably priced too. We've never been charged for sunbeds or parasols. Always good to try other places though so might give Kaplica a go in September / October.

Kaplica is lovely. Family owned and run restaurant for many years. Excellent fresh fish.

What fish do they have? I only seem to find Sea Bass and Sea Bream on offer in most places. Not seen Swordfish for a few years now. I do love whole Sea Bass chargrilled, but do like to eat other things.

Depends on the catch but they have voppa, Barbun, mezgit, normally a decent selection not just sea bass or bream.

Thanks, I'll make a note of them and try them out maybe. Never heard of Voppa Barbun, Mezgit or Hampsi but i do like trying something different. I had Fish Bianco once in Benitses, Corfu and it was delicious. The fish turned out to be Scorpion Fish, which if you saw a picture of it first, you couldn't imaging it being on your dinner plate.
