Wednesday, 18.30, "Climate Change in Eastern Mediterranean"

This Wednesday, January 23rd, at the Goethe-Institut there will be an open lecture on "Climate Change in the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East". The Goethe-Institut is alongside the Ledra Palace in Nicosia's buffer zone.
"After years of intense industrialisation, rapid population growth and extensive land conversion, the EMME has now become a global climate change ‘hot spot’."
The speaker will be Professor Jos Lelieveld, who is director of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz, Germany.
