if your passport and country / address you use match then that is sufficient
if your passport is for a different country to the country / address you are registering with then you will need both passport and proof of residency for that country.

Driving licence is not required, they will also ask you to provide a "Selfie".

Beware they do not have a dedicated fraud line for scams, and it is extremely difficult to contact anyone as the phone lines are all automated, it was on the BBC fraud programme last week

Had Revolut for a number of years, recommended family and friends. Always use it for travelling as you can convert to local currency at bank rate easily and safely. You may have trouble phoning them as everything is done in app. Never had a problem contacting them in the app, questions answered quickly. You control your card through the app so you can limit how much can be taken out of ATM or spent with contactless. You can also freeze and un-freeze your card whenever you want. Just my opinion but i donโt travel without it and would always recommend someone to get it. I personally donโt watch BBC as i donโt believe most of what they say anyway

.

I would agree with Toradoshi, apart from the bit about the BBC, I don't believe anything they say.

What method of postage did Revolut use to get a letter here in 5 days. I've used registered and tracked method many times but its always been 14 or 15 days.

I didn't know that they would do that, I've waited for someone to come over to bring me card. Thank you so much for info, will possibly try if required in future.

Thanks Mimi2, that was my real problem, my UK bank wouldn't send to a PO box No . Worldwide, DHL are supposed to be excellent but I certainly didn't trust them with a replacement passport. Although I know loads of people are happy to do that via their agent here.

benjaminbutton there was no charge by DHL or Revolut for delivering replacement card. Must admit was very surprised and how quick it did arrive as I wasn't really expecting DHL to find property but pleasantly surprised at service as they phoned me to advise what day they were coming.
