A friend has just advised, If your passpport has expired you cant log on here to internet banking.
You'll have to wait till new one arrives then take new passport to have it updated on the system, thats TEB not sure about other banks.

If this a fact, then perhaps that ruling only applies to Turkish banks, but not TRNC banks.

Yes benjaminbutton you could be right about Turkish banks My bank had been no problem logging on without an up to date passport.

TEB is a Turkish bank so possibly they have stricter rules

Yes it would appear so, all to do with security no doubt
