Hi all,
Has anyone since Brexit applied from here for a D7 visa to relocate to Portugal?
If so how and where did you apply for it?
We are slightly confused as we need a police check from where to live but we have also been advised that the EU and Portugal as a member state don’t recognise the North part of Cyprus as a separate state therefore do we apply from the Embassy in the South?
Many thanks

I would suggest that you get your police report from your last UK address , suggestion only.

Re: Experience D7 Visa for Portugal
It is so simple to get a police check here.
Just go to the polis station (we went to Girne) and ask at the desk for a form. You will be given one which you complete and return (I recollect passport photos and passport (and perhaps stamps?) may be required. The form will tell you.
Return the form and your (our) clearance was ready for us to collect in two days. Beats the U.K. and Irish CRC checks into a cocked hat.
