A section of our front door frame has come away, meaning I cannot lock or even close the front door. Can someone please recommend a carpenter who could move the positioning of the door handle and lock?

This is rather urgent, as I need to be at immigration this afternoon, however, the front door keeps opening with the wind so cannot leave.

Literally anyone will do who can get this damn door to shut!

Afc, as a quick fix why not get a short length of chain , drill and bolt it to the door and do the same to the frame or better still a rawll bolt into the wall. Removing the handle will give you the hole in the door.

Was also thinking about have a block of wood added to where its come off, but again just need a carpenter for.it
