If we downsized we would be living in a shoe box in middle o road!
Seriously tho; our little place works for us. Big enough for the two of us and can accommodate visitors. The garden is small but full of plants, shrubs and pots, it’s enough!
Bills for utilities are low and maintenance is easy.
Plus we can look out into the communal gardens and pool which is always well maintained and looks beautiful all year round.
Also we are fortunate that our Turkish Cypriot, Turkish and U.K. neighbours are lovely.

We've been told that ours would attract Russians, but they have the habit of walking into a place, telling you they want it as it stands, leaving only pictures and personal belongings to take away. Moving out with only two weeks, would finish me off. Wouldn't have the strength/energy to pack 19 years of living here etc in that time.

tutor4, I absolutely love where we are but its getting a bit too much for me if the Russian scenario were to come up. Its amazing how many many people are just driving around and then come up to the door unexpectedly or park outside and ask if we want to sell.
