Any idea if these are still needed or are they now available?

The permits should be renewed every january. The last time i phoned up to enquire about this years renewal (for 2021/22) in early november 2022, they were still not ready.

So I may have to pay a fine for late renewal.

If you want to enquire - the Tel no is 0392 8152117 - ask for extension 115 or 124

Greendale does that mean you got one at beginning of 2022? We like others kept asking for weeks but got reply not ready yet. So we never got last one. Not sure if any were issued then. So looks like same performance this time??? We have always got one previously since the beginning.

No, i did not get a permit for 2022. Like you i kept phoning up throughout the year, and was told 'not ready' - up until november - then i gave up.

I will try again in january after the elections, when hopefully something will get done.

Waddo - I think anything over 500litres requires a permit

greengate, Thanks for that, my Cypriot buddy tells me that it is over 1500 ltrs but as I only have a 500 and they will only fill to 80/85% anyway I have never bothered with a permit. He has a 1500 ltr tank and for sure no permit - lol.

Thank you all. Will keep trying as before. Bet locals don't bother! We Brits are generally so law abiding! The delivery guy is supposed to ask to see permits but ours never has!

It always used to be a 500L and permission where it is situated on the property but if you have never had one don't unlock Pandora's box
