Superhome is in the South. Unfortunately RoC now make it virtually impossible for UK license & passport holders, go there now!!!!

You can buy them most winters here. They might not be makes that we recognise, but don't assume you have to go down South all he time.

When you go in to Lefkosa, pop into Unders. Its the largest store (4 floors ) and can very often save a trip down South. Glad you were suited without the need for a car.

That sounds a grand idea. I've got a "stone" water bottle which stays warm all night, got it in UK, not seen any here.

I remember using the Stone "pop" bottles as a hot water bottle,

Yes I most certainly can as well. Jumped into bed, shoved my feed down the bed and broke my right big toe. When the weather is cold it still throbs.

LauraB. If you go into Lefkosa, keep going more or less straight, eventually you pass the Merit on your right. Just after that is a Y fork, take right hand side, go about 100 yards and you come to a four storey building, blue glass from top to bottom. Plenty of parking if front is full, down the right hand side and round the bottom.

Yikes! You are obviously way more energetic than I am jumping into bed, it's more of a collapse in a heap job for me. Must admit, wouldn't be quite so keen if I had broken a toe.

I can't remember pop being sold in those bottles, was proper glass bottles with the same kind of lids though, whatever they are called.
Mine is a gin bottle!

Unfortunately the company changed over to glass bottles, obviously a lot cheaper, not that they put the price of the gin down.

Have you thought of bashing anything else against it?

KC, What would you suggest.?
BTW alphamike, I was about 7 at the time. I think Victoria was still on the throne. Was living in a cottage on the North Yorkshire Moors, no electricity, just gas or oil lamps and bath once a week in a tin bath that hung behind the kitchen door. Tough as old boots we were then.

Trouble being, we didn't get rich like they did. It was a bit similar to the very first Herriot Vet programmes. (not the vets house) God it was cold!!!!!
