Watching Sky Sports Cricket, North Cyprus Touriist Board advertisment comes on during breaks. Quite good but could be a bit more 'punchy'. Anyone seen it, and thoughts?!

Seen it (one?) a few times on ITV; it's pretty good but would be better if more frequent and two or more versions (showing more) were made, and emphasising NORTH Cyprus in order to raise people's awareness. It's nice to note that the watchdog rejected the objections from the other side....

I caught the last minute or so so didn't see it all. BUT if they showed the joys of the old harbour then prospective tourists are going to be horribly disappointed.

I agree - the old harbour was a bit of a higgledy-piggledy mess, but it was exactly that which gave it charm and made it attractive to tourists.

I felt that it was a big mistake a few years ago when they decreed that all of the sunshades/parasols had to be the same colour...

KC, have you been and seen it lately since they have dismantled masses of it?

No, but I saw what they were doing in last Saturday's Cyprus Today - they're hopeless!
