Do we require a tourist Visa for Mainland Turkey?

British passport holders. Both hold current TRNC Residency.
Booked our Short stay flights Ercan-Istanbul-Ercan.
Do we require a Visa for Turkey.
Looked online for e-Visa: Priced at 126USD!!!
If Visa is required can it be purchased at Ercan Airport and at what cost.

Kanonier, Thank you as well - your link gives a full and detailed response to the inquiry and was well worth a read even though I do live in the TRNC, rules can change at the drop of a hat!
