A friend who is in the UK, is now considering moving into their villa in Bahceli, full time, they now looking at having a water meter installed,.

Now that the serving mayor of Esentepe has retired, would this mean that meter price would be inline with other districts, which was considerably a lot less, also does the mayors office now take card payments, as before everything was cash only.

any advice would be much apreciated.

Esentepe Belediye does accept card payments for water credit and taxes, don't know about payment for water meter installation or whether the charge for that service has changed.

What new Mayor??? Nothing on the Catalkoy website to say there is one - guess he must live at Esentepe!!! Not seen any change here in Catalkoy anyway, still waiting for the remains of the old road surface to be taken away to leave space for more fly tipping, the forests are getting full now!!

Waddo you must have been sleeping, it was announced in all the papers a few weeks ago. I am not in that district, so can't remember the name.

Edit: Checked back and new mayor is Ceyhun Kırok.
