Any recommendations for fire logs on West side ie Lapta Karsiyaka. How much for a load?

I did a search in here and found a guy, Netcat , 05338520621.

Wood delivery this afternoon, happy with quality & quantity.

Price (in sterling!) was £150 (approx 3400TL) which, compared to other suppliers, seemed reasonable. If you need to, happy for you to quote my price for delivery (Karsiyaka).

He needs 2 or 3 days notice for delivery.

Would any of you guys please let us know what types of wood you are getting - is it cut to size for fireplace or wood burner and old or new wood - when it gets to you of course. Many thanks.

Not too worried about qty as it differs for every load and type. It is always good to learn of new/old suppliers for this or even next year.

Hi Waddo

A mix of different woods (not sure of type) some harder than others, the usual variety that we have had in the past. All dry/seasoned. Excludes olive or carob.

He will deliver cut to size , in our case max 30cm for wood burner.

2Jays, Many thanks for that information, very useful indeed. I think that 30cm is about the max for my wood burner but I have the means to reduce them anyway - lol. Out of interest, I have been buying olive for £300 a load but the last two lots have been very poor, burnt wood from last years fires I think or just stump olive which will not burn well in wood stove!

I know what you mean re olive deliveries. I tend to go for a half-load of olive then use a couple of pieces to use with the softer wood, works well for me.

(Looking forward to a dry spell so that I can go fishing again with my multiple rods…….lol)
