Unions trying it on again they've been saying the 8 generators have needed servicing for about 8 years when it's their job to do it.

Ours just went in Ozanköy, not surprised.

Can anyone explain to me what is actually going on with all the disputes at kibtec.

Same as the UK, unions trying to ruin the country...

Or the Government trying to bugger up Kibtek's finances so that they can say "It must be privatised" - i.e. sold off to them and their mates...

And me. Made 3 journeys over there from Esentepe this week and they were closed each time. On strike apparently. Open again on Tuesday - apparently!

could be that they are doing this since.... decades...
see the link from kibtek website (https://www.kibtek.com/yenilenebilir-en ... tirimlari/) where they announce the "donation" from the EU for a 1 MW solar power plant (was finally erected in Serhatköy, near Güzelyurt) and the plan for a tender for a 5 MW wind turbine ... since 2009!
and since when kibtek wants money for, eg, a filter in the teknecik plant? exactly. since decades.
