Does anyone know of any Paphos airport based car hire companies that allow their cars to travel to the North. Thanks

Maybe contact Petsas. I know they at least used to (allow their cars into the north).

They still do allow their cars into the north. On their Terms and Conditions page they write:
"Crossing to the Occupied Areas - Additional insurance cover is required! E-mail us for further information."
