But this permanent residency not sure if they have a temporary residency as well?

It's the same thing as far as I understand from when I researched it before

The article mentions their temporary residency at the end - potentially going up to €37,000 per year

Temporary is for 12 months called a pink slip, property or rental agreement and min income which is just going up. Well below here, for the time being anyway...watch this space

The really mad thing is - next they'll be moaning that these extra wealthy retirees THEY'VE determined are those that they desire to settle in the south will push-up property values thereby pricing-out young (Greek) Cypriots!

You and your partner must have a combined income of at least £18,600 a year.... not quite the same is it?
