Hi all

Can anyone recommend someone who can repair external wall cracks etc needs sorting before painting the villa. we are in the lapta area. Many thanks

Are we saying cratex is no good then as the cracks come back every year ?

Due to the makeup of the house it is impossible to find a long term solution. Also there are lots of small earthquakes here that shivers the A frames thus the clay bricks they use causes the cracks. When we do a job it normally takes 3. 4 years depending on the site before they start to reappear. I can give you a quote. www.braceybuilders.com. Best with your project

The problem is they have all come back on my house and all need doing again after 1 year,I need to find someone to do them properly,and the peeling paintwork

you have to find the "original problem". it must have a reason why your house "moves" and the cracks come back.
it also can have other reasons, like the materials do not fit and stick good together, as, eg, a concrete column and the "red bricks" with concrete / gypsum plaster.
just to get a painter will be not sufficient. they can do whatever they want.. the cracks will come back!
