I have been here 17 years and I have just found the best decorator/tiler/handyman.

He is spotlessly clean, tidies up each day before he goes. Arrives at 08:00 every day. His van doesn’t leak oil. He doesn’t smoke. He is very thorough. His English is OK, but occasionally we both revert to Google Translate.

He charges £80 for an 8-hour day for his labour. He doesn’t price a job, as so much depends on what is hidden. He will recommend what materials are required and will get them if necessary.

He is also levelling some of my block paving.

He likes working for the British as he knows they want a good quality job for a fair price.

I’m here most of the time, so I can see what’s going on.

If you want to see him working, he is at my house in Alsancak this week finishing off.

I believe he is booked up for a few more weeks.

I would never use anyone else.

Search in Kibkom will bring up a few recommendations. We always use. Orhan Saglam. There are lots of recommendations on the forum.

We have used Orhan for work on our property for the last 12 years. This includes, external painting, internal painting, balcony extension, fencing, refit kitchen, new bathroom, new build storage area, patio tiling etc.

Orhan will offer good advice on what work needs to be carried out, will recommend different types of paint depending on your requirements and budget. He and his team arrive on time and at the end of each day tidy up before leaving.

We would not use anyone else.
