The term "single use" can be about as misleading as "re-useable. Some single use carrier bags I had years ago in the UK lasted several shopping trips in comparison to some "bag for life" ones at 30p each that didn't even get the shopping to the car park, though "bag for life" simply means you get a free replacement when needed.
So this new law, is it like Egypt where you can get a £1000 fine for being in possession of a single use carrier bag, or is it just banned for outlets to provide them?
