I am told it takes at least a couple of weeks to plate a car in your name in TRNC

has anyone bought a car prior to arrival in trnc, so that the car is plated when you arrive, if so did you pay a deposit and balance on delivery?

so if the dealer wants to sell you a car why doesn't he give you a courtesy car till the new one is sorted
Hire for 3/4 days and make it part of the deal a courtesy car till the new one delivered
Do't buy off a picture 2000 miles away

When I bought a car with no plates it took just a week to get them in my name, dealer did all the paperwork

Why does Tiga only show the prices of used cars? Maybe I could afford a new one from them but I will never know!

You'll have to go in and ask, new ones tend to be ordered now.

OK, thanks, loads of new ones around at all the other dealers and most of them have prices on them so will shop around before making a special trip out there. Akin my closest and have always had great service from them.
