Good place to start. Bottle of blue/black ink small syringe turn off pump the gently squirt around lights, return to pool & drain. If around these it will pull the ink through where it leaks. If it’s an overflow pool then you should be able to see any damage to lining. Obviously if it’s tiles or underground pipe work thats more difficult. Worth a try as it worked for me on a pool in UK.

Wait until cooler weather when there is no rain and no evaporation skewing water loss analysis.
Switch off pump and close valves.
Measure water loss on dry days only on a daily basis
Eventually the water loss should stop to enable you to establish how far down the pool the water leak might be. May take a few weeks to get to point where water loss stops
If your pool empties completely then the problem likely to be bottom of pool or pipe work/valves from main drain
If leak is further up walls of pool might be leaking where pool lights are or walls of pool need repairing or re proofing.
Another common water loss area is the overflow channels that might need repairing or rewaterproofing.
Good luck!
