Does anyone know if it’s still the case that only Kibtek can install the main meter into a house which has never previously been connected to the mains?

So just to be clear Gates - those random blokes connecting the electric yesterday shouldn’t have been? I did query it and was told ‘it’s normal’!

They from time to time still come round and check but only they can supply you a meter and make sure you electric is same as drawing for permission to connect

They weren’t Kibtek, I asked them.
