I have sold my house and will be paid into my UK bank by bankers draft so has anybody done this and had problems,thanks

Ours was paid into our Cypriot Bank ( Creditwest) then transferred no problems.

Did this a number of years ago and had no problems.

I was told by nesrin not to do it that way she said if I was going back to UK it is better to send the proceeds To my UK bank on bank draft from the buyer,

A Bankers Draft is essentially a cheque issued by the issuing bank.
If its a TRNC issuing bank, i do not think you can put this draft into a UK Bank account unless i am mistaken.

A UK to UK bankers draft you can.

The only way i know of is to deposit the Bankers draft in a local bank here , then do a SWIFT transfer back to the UK.
