Hi,
Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in Girne/Kyrenia ? We are coming over to TRNC at the end of October for 10 days staying in Tatlisu, but thinking of stopping in town for the night in a hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I was hoping the the harbour was going to be completed and dine there but that's looking doubtful? Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Bellapais Gardens for a very special occasion. Always go for our wedding anniversary. Top class food and service and beautiful setting and views.

Nima in Girne without a doubt. It is wonderful for special occasions if you let them know beforehand.

As the op was after a location with an atmosphere suitable for a celebration, I think comparing either food or the ambiance of Ezic Premier to UK motorway food to be a somewhat disingenuous comparison done for some sort of snobbish one-upmanship. I don't particularly think Ezic Premier is the right choice either, I just found the throwaway remark poorly conceived... You, of course, are are entitled to your opinion as am I.

Oh Lordie, severely underwhelmed on our visit. When it was the only show in town, possibly the best back in that day... not now.

In central Girne / Kyrenia, Nima also gets our vote as close to the harbour and a worthy venue for a wedding anniversary celebratory meal - just hope you don't book a night where an adjacent table is occupied by noisy high rollers. Sh1t happens.
