My passport was issued 19 November 2013 and is valid until 19th August 2024.

I will enter the Roc and onwards to TRNC before the 19th November.

I will probably stay in the north until early Dec.

Will I have any problems travelling to the ROC after 19th Nov and also any problems getting back to North Cyprus??? In other words back and forth??

This is what the UK government says:

Looks like you may have a problem going into ROC after 19th November, probably best if you renew before travelling to Cyprus. My son renewed his in 6 days recently.

Think that I should be okay back and forth once I get into the Roc as they consider a trip to trnc as never having left the roc and on arrival I will have been given 90 days

Strictly speaking, your passport is only valid until 19 November 2023 as the extra months no longer count. I wouldn’t want to risk it but your choice.

Depends how strictly they apply the rules.

I agree with Nc2016, lots of people have fallen fowl of this, thinking their passport is valid for more than 10 years, the extra time that was carried over from your previous passport due to renewing early is not accepted by many countries.

Arrived today and passport stamped on entry to Larnaca. So I have up to 90 days.
