Hello all,
At one time this forum used to have a Charity events page but I am sorry I cannot seem to be able to find how to get on it so here goes!

I am a volunteer for Kyrenia Animal Rescues Charity and work and help out in their new shop in Ozankoy which is next to Beydola Estates
.
On the 25th November 2023 starting at 10.00am - 2.30pm we are holding our 'BIG' one, our Christmas Bazaar, and the lovely people at the stunning M.C. Palace Hotel in Catalkoy has kindly offered to be our hosts. Thank you from all of us at KAR and all the animals!
We will be in their beautiful ballroom and they have kindly offered to gift a cup of tea/coffee which is included in the entrance fee of 50TL per person.
Our stalls will be filled with Christmas delights, delicious cakes & pastries, quality and beautiful clothes, handbags & jewelry, linens and more ! Plus there will be other stallholders there selling their exquisite wares.
There will be our tombola stall for you to try your luck on AND a chance to meet Santa and have a festive picture taken with him and DJ Ozzy will be playing Christmas music for us to sing-along-to and even have abit of a Christmas 'jig'.
There is ample parking both at the front of MC.Palace but also at the side of the Hotel.
We are all busy working away for this special event and we would love for you to join us for a few hours of Christmas Cheer with genuine and caring people.
Lots of laughs,banter will be shared along with Ho! Ho! Ho's and a chance for you to treat yourself to some lovely BARGAINS whilst helping KAR help the animals in their care at the shelter and also those still out there needing help!

ONLY seven more sleeps until KAR's Christmas Bazaar. at the stunning MC.Palace Hotel in Catalkoy. Saturdey 25th November 2023 starting at 10.00AM.
We, the volunteers of KAR, are working busily away preparing and putting together some beautiful and quality items to sell on our stalls.
There will be lots more stalls for you to browse , enjoy and hopefully treat yourselves.

Not only will we have two very special guests coming - Father and Mother Christmas but also at 11.00am there will be an amazing display from some very special dogs - Magnificent POLICE dogs!

Only four MIORE SLEEPS!
HO! HO! HO! Kyrenia Animal Rescues Christmas Bazaar.
Saturday 25th November from 10.00am until 2,30pm. at the MC.Palace Hotel in Catalkoy.
There is good parking at the side of the Hotel if the front is full. and we are in their beautiful ballroom.
If some of you have not yet been to this lovely hotel treat yourself to a meal as the food is delicious and we thought reasonably priced. A glass of Christmas Cheer would be nice as well!

Santa's elves have been busy setting up the stalls for the Xmas bazaar, we have already set up the best tombola you have seen for years, see you all there from 10am, even if you dont win a prize we have a huge bag of sweeties to give away. Hope to see you there.

NO MORE ASLEEPS! It's today A bit of a blustery day as yet but we will be snug and warm in the beautiful ballroom of the MC Palace in Catalkoy.
Come and say hello. I will be on the KAR's Handrags and Gladrags stall. We have some beautiful goods on sale and all to help KAR help the animals in their shelter and those still out there on the streets.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us and shared such a wonderfull time.
The MC Palace loved it and we loved being there. Thank you.

It was a brilliant atmosphere and lots of money being taken for the animals. Our stall virtually sold out and the tombola just finished before us. Brilliant. Well done to KAR, the vounteers, stall holders and MC Palace.

The amount raised has just been announced. This figure is not including the KAR amazing Raffle which tickets can still be purchased, the Dogs/cats dinners or online banking donations. .All still ongoing.
Wait for it and a big drum roll.
129,200. 00 TL YES. onehundred and twentynine thousand, two hundred. 00 TL raised at our fabulous Christmas Bazaar.
In joyful tears and heartfelt thanks for all of you who came and supported us, shared some Christmas Cheer with us and cared!.
