Has anyone received an email out of the blue from Immigration?
I am assuming the email may be one of those that has been sent to numerous people?


Email reads:

……your residency has been approved for 6 months and in order for your next residency permit to be approved you must submit your detailed bank statement for the 6 month period to the residence dept of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Immigration Office!

Yes received (and ignored)

I don’t see how a six month residency is going to work as it takes nearly a year to complete don’t get it

Probably took the original application for one year around six months to get to the point where they can issue it - so they issue it for six months! Now the poor person can start all over again with a new application - that will take another six months to get through - and in about six months time we should all get the same message again - lol. Got to keep the people in jobs you know!

If your living on a boat you only get 6 months residency at a time.

I received the same email today, considering we moved from TRNC in August 2022 I think I may just ignore it
