Checked yesterday and my permit seemed to have come through. Went to pay and it took me to a new site I've never seen before. All in Turkish and asking for 450;TL.
No reference to my name or how long it's given me. Since this is my 20 th time ..does anyone know if there is a hiccup in the system

Residency is around 900TL for 1 year or 1800TL for 2

Seems like a scam to me.

Just returned from immigration.even though this is my 20th year... Because I not rent instead of being a homeowner...I have to start from scratch . So 6 month given then a further permit after that if I keep around 20k in the bank for that time !!!!!

Forgot to mention .. it has to be in a bank here. TL/sterling/dollars.

susiesusie, so you have changed from being a homeowner to a renter (High Earner) and because of that you need to have 3 times monthly minimum income per month or 12 times the 3 times monthly minimum income in the bank here? Welcome to the club - lol. I would be interested to know if those who lease at Karmi are also in the same position as High Earners as I used to lease then went to rental.

That's about it. Was owner. Now renter so I am treated as a first timer on the high income so only 6 month given. Then the amount of £20k stg has to sit there for the 6 months. Only then will I be able to apply again. So the first 19 years of being here count for nothing .
